📋 Description

• Coordinate day-to-day components of the SisterSong Research Team’s portfolio of community-based participatory research studies including administrative tasks, event support and reporting, data analysis, collection, write-up and dissemination. • Co-lead on the identification of and application(s) for grants to support the growing work and portfolio of the Research Team. • Contribute as a thought partner on the development of new SisterSong research studies and partnerships. • Support the growth of the research team by nurturing existing partnerships and supporting new partnerships. • Serve as a representative of SisterSong across contexts including in RJ movement and research spaces. • Assist as needed with cross-departmental and all-staff events including Essence Festival of Culture, the Let’s Talk About Sex Conference, and Black (In)fertility Awareness Week.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in public health, social sciences, or related. • Two to five years of experience conducting research studies in the field of reproductive justice, sexual and reproductive health, public health, family planning, or related. • Experience leading qualitative research project(s) • Demonstrated track record of successfully gaining funding for the purpose of conducting research. • Demonstrated experience working and/or volunteering in reproductive health, rights and justice. • Commitment to advancing the tenets of reproductive justice.
