📋 Description

• Own the data plane end-to-end including telemetry ingestion at fleet scale and ensuring seamless operation. • Size the architecture for hundreds of thousands of devices, co-design and implement public API contract. • Work alongside engineering teams to define technology choices and operational practices. • Lead responsibilities on time-series storage and telemetry handling, ensuring accuracy and performance.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building production cloud systems on AWS. • Experience operating a MQTT-based device fleet at 100k devices or a comparable ingest-heavy streaming workload. • Strong opinions on time-series storage trade-offs. • Experience writing design documents, fluent in IaC (Terraform or CDK), and CI/CD. • A 4-year degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
