📋 Description

• Establish, refine, and scale project management processes that provide visibility into Core Technology initiatives, milestones, risks, and dependencies. • Partner closely with engineering leaders, producers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand technology roadmaps, align priorities, and ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives. • Own the intake, prioritization, and maintenance of the Core Technology backlog, balancing business needs, technical requirements, and team capacity. • Collaborate with the Core Technology Engineering Lead to plan and staff initiatives, helping optimize team allocation while balancing scope, schedule, and technical complexity. • Develop and deliver clear project status reporting, roadmap updates, and risk assessments to studio leadership and key stakeholders. • Facilitate project planning, milestone reviews, dependency management, and cross-team coordination across multiple technical workstreams. • Partner with project teams to define goals, success metrics, and delivery criteria for Core Technology initiatives. • Proactively identify risks, blockers, and resource constraints, driving resolution and alignment across internal and external stakeholders. • Champion operational excellence by improving workflows, communication practices, and development processes that enable teams to execute effectively.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5+ years of project management, technical production, or program management experience supporting engineering-focused teams. • 3–5+ years of experience in game development or a related software development environment. • Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Experience presenting project updates, risks, and technical concepts to leadership and executive stakeholders. • Proven ability to negotiate scope, timelines, and priorities while building alignment across diverse teams. • Familiarity with all phases of the game development lifecycle, from pre-production through launch and live operations. • Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Airtable, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
