📋 Description

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment • Service rooftop units, split systems, package units, walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, and other commercial HVAC/R equipment • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, controls, airflow, and refrigeration-system issues • Perform preventative maintenance and identify potential problems before emergency service calls • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment specifications • Recover, evacuate, charge, and troubleshoot refrigeration systems • Identify failed components and determine appropriate repairs • Communicate with customers about equipment conditions, repairs, and recommendations • Complete service documentation accurately and on time • Maintain company vehicle, tools, equipment, and inventory • Work independently while coordinating with dispatch, management, and the service team • Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Previous commercial HVAC and/or refrigeration service experience • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills • Working knowledge of electrical systems and controls • Experience working with commercial HVAC equipment and refrigeration systems • Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics • EPA certification • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record • Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently • Strong communication and customer-service skills • Comfortable using mobile technology to receive calls and document completed work • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation • Experience with commercial rooftop units, package and split systems, walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-in refrigeration, ice machines, compressors, evaporators and condensers, refrigeration controls, electrical troubleshooting, leak detection and repair, preventative maintenance, and commercial restaurant, retail, grocery, or foodservice environments
