📋 Description

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen and food service equipment • Read wiring diagrams and schematics to diagnose problems • Work with restaurant and hospitality managers to understand equipment issues and recommend repairs • Manage the daily service schedule and complete work independently • Participate in an emergency on-call rotation including nights and weekends • Travel overnight occasionally when assigned • Travel to customer locations to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration, and dishwashers • Explain findings to customers and help keep their kitchens running

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • At least one year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or military service • Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record • Mechanical aptitude and solid troubleshooting skills • Ability to work independently and prioritize service calls • Ability to participate in an emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends • Ability to travel overnight occasionally when assigned • Ability to kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach frequently • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 70 pounds • Ability to work around ladders and roofs, moving parts, steam, flames, hot surfaces, electrical equipment, and damp, humid, freezing, high, or precarious conditions • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position
