📋 Description

• Meet daily service repair needs and drive customer satisfaction • Install, repair, and maintain field equipment • Provide customer training as required • Document inspections, maintenance, and repair work • Order, install, and return parts while managing repair-parts cycle time • Review logs for open issues and prepare customer reports • Participate in service sales opportunities and revenue programs • Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment • Assess equipment performance and recommend modifications or improvements • Provide technical support to customers and service professionals • Participate in site surveys, pilot service activities, and meetings • Maintain communication with senior FSEs and Product Managers • Control and minimize costs • Travel to customer sites, including airports, correctional facilities, courthouses, and cruise ships • Comply with health, safety, environmental, export-control, and security policies

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree, related trade certification, or military training in electrical, electronic, or mechanical fields • Alternatively, 1–3 years of comparative related work and life experience in an electrical or mechanical field service role • Computer literacy • Competency with all programs in the MS Office Suite • Aptitude for learning specialized software • Minimum 1–3 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems and equipment • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, telephone, and customer-service skills • Strong customer focus and teamwork orientation • Responsiveness to customer issues • Willingness and ability to travel at short notice • Ability to pass TSA vetting and a federal background investigation when required • Ability to obtain a U.S. personal security clearance when required • Ability to lift/carry 80 lbs • Ability to push/pull 200 lbs • Ability to move/manipulate equipment weighing up to 1,000 lbs with assistance • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, turn, and work in unusual positions • Ability to work safely in extreme environments around dangerous industrial equipment • Willingness to work travel, overtime, and hours outside Monday–Friday when required
