📋 Description

• Meet daily service repair needs and drive customer satisfaction • Install, repair, and maintain equipment in the field • Provide customer training as required • Document inspections, maintenance, and repair work and submit paperwork promptly • Order, install, and return parts while managing repair-parts cycle time • Review logs for open issues and prepare formal customer reports • Participate in Service Sales opportunities and support revenue programs • Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment • Assess product and equipment performance using field-support data and recommend improvements • Provide technical support to customers and other service professionals • Participate in site surveys, pilot-program service activities, and meetings • Maintain business communication with customers and senior field service engineers/product managers • Control and minimize costs • Travel to airports, correctional facilities, courthouses, cruise ships, and other customer locations • Comply with health, safety, environmental, export-control, and security regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s Degree, related trade certification, or military training in electrical, electronic, or mechanical fields • 1–3 years of comparative related work and life experience may substitute for the educational credentials • Minimum 3 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems and equipment in the field • Computer literacy and proficiency with all programs in the MS Office Suite • Aptitude for learning specialized software programs • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong customer focus and teamwork orientation • Ability and willingness to travel at short notice • Sensitive Security Information (SSI) access and TSA vetting • Successful completion of a federal background investigation • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, multitasking, and customer service skills • Ability to handle stressful situations • Self-motivated, reliable, and accountable • Excellent telephone skills • Ability to lift/carry 80 lbs. • Ability to operate carts, hoists, davit cranes, pallet jacks, and other specified devices • Full-body mobility • Ability to work safely in varied environments and around dangerous industrial equipment • Willingness to work travel, overtime, and hours outside Monday–Friday when required • Compliance with drug-testing requirements permitted by law
