• Direct the operations of employees throughout the production department • Review and approve all production schedules • Control operating costs and capital, including maximizing operating efficiencies and production rates • Ensure that products are produced in accordance with quality specifications and maintain efficient production processes • Accomplish manufacturing employee results by effectively communicating job expectations by planning, monitoring, and appraising job results • Enforce all systems, policies, and procedures while coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees when deemed necessary • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure all employees work safely
• BS in Business or Engineering preferred • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing with at least 1 – 2 years managing people or projects • Proven knowledge and application of ERP/MRP systems • Proven knowledge and application of lean manufacturing concepts • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills • Proficient computer skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills
