📋 Description
• Work virtually with students in 2nd-6th grade, two sessions each week • Tutor/Mentor a minimum of 3 students • Each tutoring session is 45 minutes, and you receive 15 minutes of prep time. You can count each session on your timesheet as 1 hour. • Focus on building fundamental math and literacy skills using evidence-based online programs • Live training sessions to prepare you for tutoring — no prior experience required
🎯 Requirements
• Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program • Work study part of financial aid package • Students with work study may be prioritized • Mandatory background check • Commit for a minimum of 3 months • Access to the internet and a computer or tablet with a camera and microphone • Strong communication skills • Comfortable using email and video communication software • Growth mindset • Professional demeanor • Strong time management skills • Responsible and reliable
