📋 Description

• Work virtually with students in 2nd–6th grade, two sessions each week • Tutor/mentor a minimum of 3 students • Conduct 45-minute tutoring sessions with 15 minutes of preparation time per session • Focus on building fundamental math and literacy skills using evidence-based online programs • Provide support and encouragement to students from underserved communities • Participate in live training sessions to prepare for tutoring

🎯 Requirements

• Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program • Work study part of financial aid package • Students with work study may be prioritized • Mandatory background check • Commit for a minimum of 3 months • Access to the internet and a computer or tablet with a camera and microphone • Strong communication skills • Comfortable using email and video communication software • Growth mindset • Professional demeanor • Strong time management skills • Responsible and reliable • Work-study tutors must work with a minimum of 3 students, which is 7 hours of work a week
