📋 Description

• Develop the accounting function across the Solana Foundation and its wholly owned US subsidiary, SF Operations Inc. • Own Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes end to end, including AP and AR, cycle times, accuracy, and vendor and customer experience. • Lead onboarding of a new expense management and bill pay platform. • Integrate an agentic procurement system and automate accounts receivable. • Evaluate tools, automations, and human processes; own implementations through adoption. • Manage corporate cards and the expense programme, review employee and company spending, and implement spend policies through process. • Ensure accurate general ledger records across both entities in compliance with appropriate Swiss and US GAAP standards. • Prepare and lead balance sheet and asset reconciliations, including bank transactions and onchain wallet activity. • Prepare and support month-end close, financial reporting, budget versus actuals, and ad hoc analysis. • Monitor processes, procedures, and controls; identify weaknesses and build controls to improve record-keeping accuracy.

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified accountant with 3–5 years of experience across public accounting and industry. • Certified Public Accountant. • Experience in accounting, financial management, and financial reporting. • Hands-on experience with Xero or a comparable platform such as QuickBooks. • Comfortable using Airtable and other automation-friendly databases. • Experience building tool integrations and leading accounting technology implementations. • Comfortable working with AI and agentic systems. • Familiarity with blockchain, digital assets, and reconciling wallet activity alongside bank statements. • Experience in a fast-moving startup or a rapidly scaling company. • Strong problem-solving ability and exceptional attention to detail.
