📋 Description

• Lead all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and cash management. • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process. • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP. • Develop, document, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies. • Manage annual audits and coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies. • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities in partnership with Finance. • Oversee treasury and cash flow reporting activities. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements. • Evaluate and implement process improvements, automation initiatives, and accounting system enhancements. • Build and develop the accounting team as the organization scales.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience • Minimum 5 years in an accounting leadership role • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • CPA designation strongly preferred • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements • Experience managing audits and external accounting relationships • Demonstrated success building and improving accounting processes and controls • Strong ERP and financial systems experience
