📋 Description

• Perform control gap, risk, and compliance/regulatory assessments • Develop and perform phishing and vishing social engineering simulations • Present social engineering training to improve security awareness programs • Manage projects to ensure assessment delivery is on time and meets client needs • Identify control implementation gaps and determine recommendations based on regulatory frameworks and desired controls • Conduct client and internal interviews to evaluate IT environments and security practices • Develop executive summaries, detailed findings and recommendations reports, presentation slide decks, plans of action and milestones, policies and procedures, and ad-hoc written reports • Support Advisory team members across Trusted Advisory and vCISO, Risk/Gap Assessments, Incident Response Readiness, Table Top Exercises, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans, and Policy development • Write clear, well-structured reports detailing observations and strategic recommendations • Identify cybersecurity-related regulatory requirements and compliance gaps, and develop strategic compliance plans • Develop remediation plans with clients • Document and present findings and recommendations to C-Suite and board-level executives • Perform quality assurance reviews of deliverables • Maintain post-assessment client relationships and provide ongoing security advice • Maintain competence in security trends, technologies, and practices through self-study and industry events • Maintain integrity and confidentiality of sensitive client information • Assess and research business platforms and technologies to recommend secure configurations

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience with an understanding of the cybersecurity space • 2+ years of experience in a cybersecurity consulting role, specifically conducting IT audits or assessments • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, CMMC, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc. • Majority of work time availability from 9:00 AM EST to 5:00 PM EST • Ability to work remotely • Ability to travel occasionally for client engagements, team meetings, or other business needs
