📋 Description

• Provide quality instruction in each assigned course within the approved academic program curriculum • Assist with curriculum development, implementation, and continuous evaluation, including course sequences and student learning outcomes • Respond promptly to information requests from institutional officials, students, professional organizations, public agencies, and others as appropriate • Promote appropriate standards of linguistic expression in written and oral communications • Complete and submit required academic program documentation and forms by established deadlines • Manage classroom activities and remain reasonably accessible to students for questions and assistance • Monitor educational and professional literature for best practices related to courses taught • Assist with curricular and policy changes as requested by the Dean/Department Chair • Assist with selecting new textbooks as appropriate • Complete other duties assigned by the Dean/Department Chair

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate or Master’s degree in the discipline, or Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline for General Studies • Doctorate or Master’s degree in the discipline, or Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline for Associate Degree Programs • Bachelor’s degree in the discipline may be accepted for Associate Degree Programs not normally designed for transfer to a bachelor’s degree • Doctorate or Master’s degree in the discipline, or Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline for Baccalaureate Degree Programs • Doctorate/Terminal degree in the discipline for Graduate Degree Programs • Prior teaching experience and/or practical/clinical experience in the discipline preferred • Documentation of applicable licenses/certifications is required • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, often in stressful situations involving students or co-workers • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, changing strategic and tactical workplace • Must meet all faculty expectations weekly and adhere to institutional and School/Department policies
