📋 Description

• Provide quality instruction in assigned courses within the approved academic program curriculum • Respond in a timely manner to information requests from institutional officials, prospective employers, professional organizations, public agencies, civic organizations, private foundations, the general public, and students • Promote appropriate standards of linguistic expression in written and oral communications • Complete and submit academic program requirements and documentation, including clinical evaluations and competency documentation, by established deadlines • Meet all faculty expectations weekly • Manage classroom activities • Remain reasonably accessible to students for questions and assistance • Monitor educational and professional literature for best practices related to courses taught • Report directly to the PMHNP Program Coordinator

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a doctorate degree in psychiatric mental health nursing practice • PHMNP certification • Successful completion of at least 18 hours of directly related graduate coursework • Must have PA, LA, TN, and GA APRN licenses • Prior successful online teaching preferred • Ability to provide quality instruction within the approved curriculum • Ability to complete clinical evaluations and competency documentation by established deadlines • Ability to meet weekly faculty expectations • Ability to manage classroom activities • Availability to assist students with questions and support • Ability to monitor educational and professional literature for best practices
