📋 Description

• Create and maintain 3D electrical models using BIM software • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and construction planning services team members • Ensure models are accurate and meet project requirements • Use models to identify and resolve design-phase conflicts or issues • Produce jobsite electrical installation drawings • Apply BIM/VDC knowledge to size, evaluate, select, and specify raceway and wire routing for electrical power, lighting, and auxiliary systems • Use Southwire technology tools and industry BIM/VDC tools • Produce wire-routing layouts and wire BOMs for efficient building wire installation • Prepare and revise plans, diagrams, details, and other documentation through design and construction phases • Develop three-dimensional models of electrical systems • Coordinate project specifications with construction documents and contractor preferences • Perform other assigned duties and comply with company policies and standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required • 2-4 years of experience in Electrical Modeling/Design • Proficiency with Autodesk collaboration tools including Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) • High level of knowledge and experience with Revit, AutoCAD, NAVIS Works, and Bluebeam • Proficient in reading, understanding, and analyzing MEP construction drawings, specifications, and submittals • Knowledge of construction codes and standards, including NFPA 70 National Electrical Code • Ability to work independently, manage workload, and meet project deadlines with minimal supervision • Ability to adjust to changing schedules and deadlines • Skills in 3D Modeling, Electrical Wiring, Microsoft 365, Quality Assurance, and Workflow Management
