📋 Description

• Administer the organization’s general health and safety policies, procedures, and safety training • Ensure worksites across the Company’s footprint comply with OSHA, DOT, and applicable state, local, and industry-specific regulations • Deliver OSHA-compliant safety and health, accident prevention, and accident investigation training for managers and supervisors • Conduct periodic worksite inspections to assure safe and healthful working conditions • Recommend appropriate mitigation to management for abatement of identified hazards • Investigate accidents, identify root causes, and determine prevention measures • Maintain site accident records and prepare reports for regulatory agencies, insurance representatives, and upper management • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess safety and development needs and program effectiveness • Evaluate safety and risk management performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities • Perform other duties supporting the company’s purpose, brand principles, and organizational values

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with primary area of study in Occupational Safety and Health required • Experience equivalent to an Associate's degree may be considered in lieu of education requirement • 3 years or more related experience and/or training required • Experience with technical safety methodologies established by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) at the Associate Safety Professional designation level required • Experience with safety program management and implementation within cable telecommunications, commercial driving, or the construction industry required • Valid driver’s license and good driving record • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with demanding deadlines • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of management • Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills • Ability to work irregular schedules on occasion, including weekends, evenings, and overnights depending upon business needs • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience developing, delivering, demonstrating, and evaluating Safety Skills • Familiarity with adult learning methodologies and ability to teach classes in-person and online • Board of Certified Safety Professional’s (BCSP) Associate Safety Professional (ASP) preferred • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred
