📋 Description

• Run the execution engine of the marketing team, including systems, channels, publishing cadence, and performance reporting • Own HubSpot as the primary marketing system of record, including segments, properties, workflows, forms, campaign tracking, and integrations • Perform technical SEO, on-page optimization, structured data, site architecture, internal linking, backlinks, listings, and AEO across altimate.ai and help.altimate.ai • Build measurement to evaluate search and answer-engine visibility • Manage subscription lists, opt-in processes, newsletter creation, scheduling, sending, hygiene, segmentation, and deliverability • Set email KPIs and own the process for meeting them • Publish and distribute engineering- and writer-authored blog articles via Hashnode and other channels • Manage social channels, repurpose long-form content into posts, assess channel effectiveness, and grow reach • Track and act on analytics from GA4, PostHog, Google Search Console, HubSpot, OpenSEO, and other sources • Manage webinars and online events end to end, including platform, registration, promotion, reminders, follow-up, and reporting • Coordinate conference and meetup presence in North America and Europe, including venues, vendors, shipping, schedules, promotion, lead capture, and follow-up • Help promote occasional events in India • Initially work as an individual contributor, with expected progression toward leading a small team

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in digital marketing; 6 preferred • Meaningful experience in startups or small multi-channel marketing teams • Hands-on ownership of a marketing automation tool, including configuration • Email marketing infrastructure experience, including selecting or implementing an ESP, migrating a contact database, building a compliant opt-in flow, and diagnosing deliverability problems • Hands-on technical SEO experience with schema, site architecture, and crawl and index health • Current, practical point of view on AEO • Self-sufficiency with GA4, Google Search Console, HubSpot, Ahrefs/Semrush/OpenSEO or equivalent • Practical fluency with agentic AI tools, including workflows and automations built and run • Operational reliability for recurring scheduled work • Reasonable overlap with teams in India and the US • Familiarity with software development and data engineering is a plus • Paid acquisition experience is a plus • Experience marketing to technical or developer audiences, or in the data ecosystem, is a plus • Comfort with a git-based publishing flow, including markdown and pull requests, is a plus • Light editing of technical content written by others is a plus • Experience briefing and managing external agencies or contractors is a plus
