📋 Description

• Anchor accounting function during a pivotal period of growth and transformation • Take full ownership of the review and ongoing management of Right-of-Use (ROU) assets and lease liabilities • Ensure all documentation is robust and audit-ready • Oversee PPE accounting, refine and enforce capitalization policies • Manage asset disposals, evaluate impairment considerations • Review complex transactions, contract assessments, and financing arrangements • Partner with leadership to strengthen accrual methodologies • Establish and enforce elevated reconciliation standards • Prepare detailed audit schedules, reports, and technical documentation for review by management and external auditors • Actively partner in upcoming software migration and redesign workflows

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Required experience with QuickBooks Online • Experience with NetSuite is preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required • CPA or CIA designation is highly preferred • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, Financial Auditor, or Assistant Controller with deep expertise in US GAAP, specifically including ASC 842 and complex capitalization policies • Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex financial data and apply high-level accounting judgment • Strong organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of educating staff on policies and presenting clear findings to external auditors and leadership
