📋 Description

• Lead the end-to-end analytical strategy to improve engagement and outcomes across Spring Practice • Apply AI, predictive modeling, classification, and clustering to improve member scheduling, provider matching, and care coordination workflows • Design and execute rapid experimentation roadmaps to test, validate, and scale workflow improvements • Use quasi-experimental approaches to measure impact and analyze results • Provide recommendations on initiatives to pursue and influence product strategy • Serve as an embedded data scientist within the Care pod • Partner with product management and design to influence roadmaps and define success metrics • Work with large, multi-source datasets, perform feature engineering, and uncover novel insights • Coordinate with the partnered Analytics Engineer and Data Analyst embedded with Care • Drive improvements in Spring Practice engagement, utilization, workflow efficiency, and experiment velocity

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional data science experience • Hands-on experience with experimentation, hypothesis testing, and quasi-experimental methods • Proficiency with SQL and Python • Experience with data modeling via dbt or similar tools • Experience with data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Omni, Hex) • Experience with product development and the software development lifecycle • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to guide and make recommendations to business partners • Proven ability to incorporate AI to solve complex business problems, including prompt engineering for LLMs, AI for code optimization and documentation, and establishing best practices for these tools across teams • Ability to proactively manage priorities and dependencies in alignment with cross-functional dependencies and business impact in a fast-paced environment • Proven success navigating ambiguous problem areas and learning new approaches • Willingness to travel at least 2 times per year for collaborative sessions and summits with the team
