Sprinter Health is a hybrid in-home and virtual primary care provider that expands access to proactive, preventive healthcare by combining community-based, W-2 “Sprinters” (trained phlebotomists with medical assistant and community health worker skills) who perform hands-on diagnostics and wellness checks in patients’ homes with a virtual clinical team of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and care navigators. Their full-stack platform and operations close care gaps, deliver preventive screenings and diagnostics, coordinate medications and referrals, and scale longitudinal primary care and wellness visits for payer and provider partners and patients.

📋 Description

• Review the daily schedule and ensure proper supplies and PPE are available • Travel to patients’ homes throughout the assigned market • Provide blood draws, vitals, height and weight measurements, urine collection, Annual Wellness Visit support, and other preventative and diagnostic services • Use expert phlebotomy skills to make blood draws comfortable for patients • Create a warm, welcoming, and professional experience in each patient’s home • Accurately document patient visits using Sprinter technology • Label, handle, and transport specimens for lab drop-off or shipment • Navigate unfamiliar cities, neighborhoods, and patient service areas independently • Manage time, supplies, and schedule between patient visits • Travel approximately 75% of the year and potentially spend extended periods away from home

🎯 Requirements

• Strong phlebotomy skills, including experience with challenging sticks • Patient-facing healthcare experience as a Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant (MA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN); in-home experience preferred • Current BLS certification • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance • Availability Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. • Ability to drive before 7:00 a.m. to arrive at the first scheduled patient on time • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 75% of the year • Ability to be away from home for extended periods • Comfort driving and navigating independently in unfamiliar cities and neighborhoods • Proficiency using Apple iPhones and iPads • Ability to meet applicable state-specific certification or licensing requirements • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.; heavier lifting may be required for travel assignments • Ability to spend prolonged periods driving between patient appointments • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and carry medical supplies and equipment • Ability to safely navigate patient home environments, including locations with stairs • Ability to manage the physical demands associated with frequent travel
