📋 Description

• Develop YouTube-first video concepts, storylines, and episode formats • Write engaging scripts designed to hold viewers’ attention • Create strong opening hooks that immediately establish curiosity and stakes • Pitch compelling titles and thumbnail concepts that make people want to click • Build stories with strong pacing, comedy, escalation, and satisfying payoffs • Collaborate with the animation and creative teams throughout production • Review storyboards, animatics, and edits to provide feedback on pacing, clarity, humor, and retention • Use audience behavior and video performance to improve future content • Stay current on YouTube trends, formats, platform changes, and audience preferences • Continuously identify ways to improve click-through rate, watch time, and viewer engagement

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience writing for YouTube or other audience-driven digital content • A strong understanding of YouTube storytelling, pacing, hooks, and viewer retention • The ability to develop clickable video concepts, titles, and thumbnail direction • Strong comedic instincts and an understanding of character-driven storytelling • The ability to turn a broad creative idea into a clear, engaging script • Strong creative problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • The ability to take feedback and revise quickly • Comfortable working remotely in a fast-moving production environment
