📋 Description

• Design, build, train, and deploy models for cybersecurity use cases including incident detection and mitigation, fraud intelligence, and risk scoring • Develop models using structured and unstructured data for threat detection, alerting, entity resolution, risk scoring, and natural language tagging and classification • Build preprocessing and feature engineering pipelines supporting models • Own model monitoring and evaluation and design feedback loops to improve accuracy and effectiveness • Prototype new approaches and take prototypes to production-grade reliability • Own data validation, transformation, and pipeline health across research-to-production handoffs • Collaborate with software and data engineers to productionize models in cloud-native environments such as AWS • Partner with product managers and domain experts to define success criteria and prototype MVPs • Access, understand, transform, and validate diverse data sources with data engineering teams • Contribute to system design and architectural decisions • Communicate model design choices, tradeoffs, and outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Maintain documentation for models, pipelines, and evaluation methodologies • Participate in model and compliance reviews and customer-facing discussions as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building and shipping models in production with direct, hands-on ownership of the data lifecycle around them • Strong background in applied math, including linear algebra, optimization, and statistics, and machine learning • Demonstrated experience leveraging Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques for text classification, tagging, or entity extraction • Proficiency in Python and PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and XGBoost • Demonstrated experience building or maintaining data/feature pipelines with tools such as Airflow, Spark, or Pandas as part of modeling work • Comfort with model versioning and monitoring in production, such as MLflow or DVC • Working experience deploying models into cloud environments or containerized services • Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex problems into actionable solutions • SpyCloud is not sponsoring visas at this time
