📋 Description

• Creates and issues requests for quotes for services and materials in support of federal and commercial projects in accordance with internal policies and federal procurement requirements • Analyzes supplier quotations, selects strategic partners and manages internal customers • Assists in negotiating favorable pricing and terms and conditions • Prepares and places purchase orders using Ariba; use Costpoint to review supplier information • Monitors the cost, schedule and performance metrics of purchase orders • Organizes, maintains and updates purchase orders, information, systems and documentation. Tracks back-orders in Ariba • Assists in the implementation and communication of company procurement policies and procedures • Reviews and remediates Invoice Reconciliations • Must be able to prioritize work in a dynamic environment, shifting focus as needed to meet deadlines and organizational needs • Must have excellent organizational skills

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years of related buying experience with a bachelor’s degree • In lieu of degree, 6-8 years of buying experience may be considered. • Must be U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident. • Experience with Federal (FAR/DFARS) procurement requirements, and accounting and receiving practices/procedures • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, with ability to solve problems and effectively communicate with internal clients and external suppliers. • Must be able to follow the process for developing compliant files • Must be able to meet proposal, budget, and purchase order deadlines • Ability to work as part of a team and build collaborative relationships • SAP Ariba experience is a plus • Ability to demonstrate time management and organizational skills.
