📋 Description

• Communicate with patients, participants, and staff to schedule prescribed procedures • Gather demographic, insurance, clinical, and other patient information • Enter patient information into the appropriate database and EPIC • Receive and process incoming referral requests, including information and orders • Seek resources to resolve issues regarding procedure type, date, or location • Schedule procedures efficiently using patient time and clinical resources • Coordinate and communicate schedules • Assist with insurance pre-certification and authorization activities • Counsel patients, participants, or representatives regarding pre-service requirements and instructions • Perform clerical and reception duties related to patient registration • Hand off information to a nurse for eligibility review • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience • No experience required • Frequent keyboard use/data entry • Ability to perform frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling of objects weighing 0–25 lbs. • Ability to perform occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling of objects weighing 25–50 lbs. • Ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements • Ability to perform frequent near and far vision and depth perception tasks and distinguish colors • Ability to use hearing and speech for oral communication and hear alarms and malfunctioning machinery • Ability to perform occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and gripping • Rare climbing • No professional license or certification required
