📋 Description

• Schedule fire alarm and fire sprinkler system inspections • Perform on-site inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of fire suppression systems, including water, clean agents, and chemical systems • Run testing and inspection on fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems • Coordinate with the local fire department to avoid responses to testing • Complete repairs of fire alarm and/or suppression systems • Report testing and inspection results according to appropriate authorities' requirements • Maintain constant alertness and work safely • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Plumbing experience is required • Five years' experience • High school diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience • Candidates are required to obtain a NICET 2 sprinkler certification within one year of hire • NICET Level II certification in Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarms or Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems • Work location must be in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, day shift • Ability to perform constant standing and walking • Ability to frequently lift/carry and push/pull objects weighing 0–25 lbs • Ability to occasionally lift/carry and push/pull objects weighing 25–50 lbs • Ability to perform required reaching, gripping, keyboard use/data entry, bending, stooping, climbing, crawling, kneeling, sitting, squatting, twisting, and repetitive movements • Ability to hear alarms and malfunctioning machinery • Rare driving
