• Coordinate and provide leadership for workflows and process improvement within a specialized pharmacy operational area spanning multiple ministries • Perform daily specialized-role services across multiple ministries or in a centralized service model • Learn multiple site workflows, travel, manage matrix relationships, and collaborate across teams and ministries • Resolve specialized-area issues, maintain accurate records, and escalate and close complex problems • Serve as a resource for regional, system, and external stakeholders • Comply with legal, regulatory, accreditation, confidentiality, and HIPAA standards • Conduct reviews and audits, report and monitor KPIs, and identify quality improvement opportunities • Create system standardization and lead implementation of operational changes and advancements • Participate in regional or system work teams, committees, and councils • Coordinate team-member education, training, orientation, and competency; train team members in the specialized area • Prepare and distribute work schedules and provide cross-coverage as assigned • Serve as a multi-ministry or regional liaison to pharmacy teams and communicate specialty-area changes • Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and ancillary departments • Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner • Perform other duties as assigned
• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience • Three years’ experience as a pharmacy technician or relevant healthcare field • Pharmacy technician registration or registration application requirements based on the state of work location (Illinois, Missouri, or Wisconsin) • Illinois: Registered Pharmacy Technician credential, or future registration within 2 months, with IL registration application process complete at time of hire • Missouri: Pharmacy Technician credential, or Missouri registration application and fingerprint process complete at time of hire, and future registration within 6 months • Wisconsin: Registered Pharmacy Technician credential, or WI Registration Application Number (PAR), and future registration within 6 months • Ability to perform frequent lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, repetitive movements, vision/hearing tasks, and keyboard use/data entry • Ability to perform occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping, and lifting/pushing/pulling objects weighing 25–50 lbs.; rare climbing
