📋 Description

• Develop and execute near-term and long-term strategies to help the STACK Development team integrate data center projects • Manage the load-interconnection process and serve as a primary point of contact with the utility for data center projects • Own, cultivate, and manage utility relationships • Document utility load interconnection processes, including financial commitments, cost responsibilities, process duration, and power commitments • Support reviews of utility contracts related to projects • Forecast and manage utility project budgets • Support leasing activities • Work with the development team to develop business cases for projects • Review and vet potential datacenter sites for power delivery timeframe viability • Develop strategies with the Vice President, Transmission Strategy to improve internal processes • Understand utility and ISO/RTO planning practices, modeling assumptions, cost recovery, cost allocation, and load interconnection processes • Support utility and RTO/ISO relationship management for site due diligence, interconnection requests, studies, and alternative transmission solutions • Collaborate with STACK Energy and STACK Policy teams on data center integration processes and reforms • Prepare presentations, track market activity, and provide weekly and biweekly reports • Collaborate with preconstruction, supply chain, design and engineering, sales, legal, and tax teams • Aid in preparing business cases and recommendations for leadership approval • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred • 10+ Years experience in the energy space (with a utility, a consulting firm, renewable energy company, etc) • Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite • Strong analytical, detail-oriented, creative thinking, and communication skills • Comfort creating processes and implementing strategies and procedures that serve an organization • Ability to execute, process, and prioritize tasks with minimal-to-no supervision • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with internal staff, external consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders • Must be eligible to work in the United States • Must pass comprehensive background screening
