📋 Description

• Develops basic system designs for Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection, and Intercom systems. • Performs site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and final punch lists as required. • Prepares project deliverables per the client’s intent and scope of work. • Follows Stantec’s quality management process; reviews project deliverables before submission. • Actively participates in the engineering/professional community to build personal knowledge. • Meets or exceeds utilization goals and adheres to project budget. • Gives input or creates plans to complete tasks within the project timeline and budget. • Creates detailed instructions, delegates tasks, and reviews returned work as necessary.

🎯 Requirements

• Possess basic knowledge of engineering practices within the physical security discipline. • Knowledge of commonly used and accepted design and construction concepts, practices, procedures. • Able to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and specifications, technical procedures, and government regulations. • Proficient in applicable software (i.e. REVIT, AutoCAD, Bluebeam). • Displays effective organization and time management skills. • Knowledge of ASIS standards and best practices. • Experience with Security design within Mission Critical Facilities is preferred. • Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required. • ASIS PSP certification is desired. • Minimum 3+ years related industry experience preferred.
