📋 Description

• Assist the Director of Business Development with resource cross-leveling, organization, and prioritization of capture, pursuit, and proposal workload • Assist Client and Practice Leads, contracts management, and marketing specialists with data organization, presentations, graphics, and text for statements of qualifications, RFIs, account planning, and reporting • Lead and collaborate with capture leads, pursuit managers, and marketing specialists • Oversee consistency of messaging and delivery across Client Working Groups and Accounts • Collect and build on lessons learned to improve responsiveness and win rates • Manage Deltek Capture Management opportunity data entry and associated reporting • Define proposal structure and organization according to RFP/RFQ instructions • Develop responsive writing outlines, input requirements, and templates • Participate in writing project descriptions, personnel qualifications, management planning, quality control measures, and other RFQ/RFP components • Coordinate and communicate proposal completion schedules • Understand and complete supplemental RFP/RFQ forms and requirements • Support development of subcontractor teaming agreements and relationships • Craft and organize data calls to subcontractors • Track and communicate RFQ/RFP amendments with the proposal writing team • Edit and rewrite proposal sections for concise, coherent messaging

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and self-schedule • Deadline oriented • Articulate, energetic, enthusiastic, positive, confident • Ability to work and communicate effectively with diverse technical staff and teaming partners • Teamwork and collaborative document development • Ability to give clear, concise directions and organize large volumes of information • Commitment to quality and ongoing process improvement • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and layout skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Ability to manage multiple concurrent proposal assignments • Exceptional written and verbal communication and collaboration skills • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of personnel • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing preferred • Minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience writing proposals in response to DOD/federal government RFQ/RFPs in the architecture/engineering and environmental consulting services industry • Experience in strategic proposal management and production, including up-front planning, win strategy development, proposal design, and review teams • Experience managing teams, coaching, mentoring, and providing constructive criticism • Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Deltek Capture Management a plus
