📋 Description

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve high-exposure general liability claims involving bodily injury, property damage, and other casualty matters • Balance financial objectives, claimant experience, and reputational considerations • Partner with third-party administrators to ensure timely, consistent, and effective claim handling • Assess liability, exposure, litigation risk, and potential business impact • Develop resolution strategies aligned with company goals and values • Provide claims expertise and consultation to appropriate departments • Identify emerging loss trends and promote consistent claims practices • Evaluate subrogation potential • Maintain comprehensive written and electronic claim file information and ensure compliance with claim handling protocols • Represent the risk management claims team on inter-departmental working groups

🎯 Requirements

• 4 years of general liability claims adjusting experience with a third-party administrator, insurance company, or self-insured company • 2 years of general knowledge of insurance and legal principles • 2 years of customer service experience • 2 years of general office experience in a fast-paced environment • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills • Strong time management and prioritization skills • Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and professionalism
