📋 Description

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of residential and commercial property damage • Meet with insureds as the first point of contact, explain coverage, estimate damages, and guide them through the claims process • Collaborate with policyholders, insurance agents, and other involved parties to gather information and resolve claims • Interact professionally with parties expressing strong emotions or concerns • Provide exceptional customer service and address inquiries and concerns • Gather evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed reports • Investigate and adjust personal and commercial property claims with exposures up to $500,000 • Evaluate coverage and policy terms to determine claim validity and regulatory compliance • Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits, policy provisions, industry standards, and company guidelines • Work from home and use a mobile office/vehicle for field appointments • Travel outside the assigned area occasionally to assist other territories

• Experienced and highly skilled professional • Ability to investigate problems, evaluate information, and make well-supported decisions • Ability to interpret detailed policies, guidelines, or technical information and apply them accurately • Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar concepts, processes, and terminology • Ability to effectively interact with policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for difficult or emotional conversations • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills • Proficiency using mobile/desktop tools to document and support claims in the field and remotely • Physical ability to walk, bend, reach, kneel, squat, stoop, lift, carry, unfold, climb ladders, traverse roofs, and crawl in tight spaces • May be required to complete Rope and Harness Safety Training • Valid driver's license required • Must reside within one of the listed zip codes: 80420, 80424, 80435, 80440, 80443, 80449, 80461, 80468, 80498, 81211, 81228, 81251, 81657 • Successful completion of required training, applicable proficiency and licensing exams, Motor Vehicle Record checks, and background checks • Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Risk Management, Insurance, Business, Construction Management, or a similar discipline (preferred) • Customer service experience (preferred) • Understanding of property insurance concepts and general claim handling practices (preferred) • Baseline knowledge of residential and commercial building construction and components/materials (preferred) • Familiarity with water mitigation principles and inspection processes (preferred) • Working knowledge of Xactimate and XactContents (preferred) • Ability and willingness to work flexible schedules, overtime, and irregular hours as needed
