📋 Description

• Handle accident- and weather-related claims for homeowners, commercial properties, and large losses • Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of residential and commercial property damage • Meet with insureds as the first point of contact • Explain coverage and estimate damages • Help policyholders through the claims process while providing Remarkable service • Collaborate with policyholders, insurance agents, and other involved parties • Gather information and resolve claims efficiently • Interact with parties who may express strong emotions or concerns • Provide exceptional customer service and promptly address inquiries and concerns • Gather evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed reports • Investigate and adjust personal and commercial property claims with exposures up to $500,000 • Evaluate coverage and policy terms for claim validity and regulatory compliance • Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits, policy provisions, industry standards, and company guidelines • Work primarily in the field from a home-based mobile office/vehicle, with virtual work from home • Occasionally travel outside the assigned area to assist other territories

• Experienced and highly skilled professional • Ability to investigate problems, evaluate information, and make well-supported decisions • Ability to interpret detailed policies, guidelines, or technical information and apply them accurately • Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar concepts, processes, and terminology • Ability to effectively interact with policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for difficult or emotional conversations • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills • Proficiency using mobile/desktop tools to document and support claims in the field and remotely • Physical agility for walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, stooping, lifting, carrying, unfolding, and climbing ladders • Ability to use safety equipment to traverse roofs at various heights and pitches • Ability to crawl in tight spaces • May be required to complete Rope and Harness Safety Training • Valid driver's license required • Must successfully complete required training, applicable proficiency/licensing exams, Motor Vehicle Record checks, and background checks • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business, Construction Management, or similar • Preferred: Customer service experience • Preferred: Understanding of property insurance concepts and claim handling • Preferred: Knowledge of residential and commercial building construction and materials • Preferred: Familiarity with water mitigation principles and inspection processes • Preferred: Working knowledge of Xactimate and XactContents • Residence within one of the listed Colorado zip codes and ability to service the assigned territory • Ability and willingness to work flexible schedules, overtime, and/or irregular hours
