📋 Description

• Support right-of-way acquisition, land leasing, permitting, and construction support for oil and gas, wind, solar, and transmission areas • Establish trust and build long-term positive relationships between clients and landowners • Make independent decisions in working with landowners and stakeholders • Coordinate meetings with landowners and project stakeholders • Negotiate and secure fee titles, easements, leases, licenses, and permits • Estimate potential damage areas in advance of construction • Perform land sales research • Explain project scope, timelines, processes, contracts, and financial agreements to landowners • Provide regular status reports to project managers on land acquisition tasks • Prepare necessary agreement documents and permitting forms

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in reviewing title work, landowner acquisition, permitting, and other real estate related tasks • Understanding of local, state, and federal statutory requirements for land acquisitions and real estate permitting • Experience in electric transmission and/or oil and gas linear acquisition projects • Desire to develop a career as a Right-of-Way professional • Licensed Wisconsin Real Estate Agent or willingness to get licensed • IRWA Membership or Real Estate sales/broker preferred • Understanding of project budgeting, cashflows, scheduling, and staffing • Superior written and oral communication skills • Competent with Microsoft Office software • Solid understanding of ArcGIS software and Google Earth • Ability to navigate and locate specific properties in the field • Ability to travel and conduct overnight work away – up to 50 percent
