📋 Description

• Provide telephonic follow-up with members for medication management and chronic disease support • Coordinate delivery of medications to patients • Facilitate patients' access to the Pharmacist for clinical needs • Manage patient orders through Pharmacist verification • Complete medication management service tasks • Access, input, and retrieve information through the Pharmacy computer network • Obtain refill authorizations from prescribers • Process and prepare third-party insurance claims • Maintain accurate patient/client profiles • Provide medication management services using prescribed workflows • Complete clear and concise documentation in Care Management programs • Answer phones professionally and direct calls appropriately • Accept prescriptions for filling and ensure the PIC has necessary order data • Handle customer problems and concerns, referring them to the pharmacist as appropriate • Support teamwork, professional services, and clear communication • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • Pharmacy technician license or pharmacy technician trainee license from the Texas State Board and state of residence • Strong communication and customer service skills • Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends • Ability to read and transcribe pharmaceutical information • Ability to sit for long periods and stand intermittently • Spanish speaking preferred
