📋 Description

• Teach general courses in Speech • Maintain familiarity with and adhere to college policies and procedures • Provide instruction and an effective learning environment • Facilitate student acquisition of learning outcomes identified in assigned-course syllabi

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s Degree with 18 hours of graduate coursework in subject to be taught • Ability to utilize different methods in delivering course material • Competency in MS Office, the Internet, Canvas, and Blackboard; experience with Canvas preferred • Commitment to academic excellence, exceptional service and providing a dynamic climate for life-long learning • Ability to use effective strategies to engage students in their learning • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills • Commitment to multi-cultural and multi-generational diversity • Strong communication and computer skills • Commitment to quality service to students • Experience in or exposure to the community college environment • Official transcripts required upon employment • Successful completion of a criminal background check
