📋 Description

• Conduct virtual interviews with prospective students and families through the admission cycle • Serve as a primary admission counselor, guiding families through the application process from inquiry through enrollment • Evaluate applicant files, including academic records, recommendations, interviews, and supplemental materials • Participate actively in candidate review, file reading, and admissions committee discussions • Maintain regular communication with prospective families via email, phone, and virtual meetings • Present virtually at admission events, webinars, and information sessions • Provide support for a key aspect of admissions operations (student tour guides, CBO partnership, parent ambassador, event management, liaison with faculty/programs, etc.) • Collaborate with the Admissions team to support enrollment goals and yield efforts • Attend weekly team meetings virtually and provide support for key events and meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • Minimum of one to three years of experience, working in an independent secondary school or college preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated problem-solving skills • Proficiency in technology systems (MS Office, Google Workspace and Zoom) • Familiarity with Slate preferred • Strong skills and expertise in networking, marketing, and presenting • Effective time management skills and demonstrated ability to project manage • The ability to work collaboratively and effectively with diverse groups, including students from around the world and from underrepresented groups
