📋 Description

• Define and document business or program area functions and processes • Consult business subject matter experts to identify, define, and document business requirements and objectives, operational procedures, problems, and input/output requirements • Act as liaison between departmental end-users, technical teams, consultants, and other governmental organizations during solution analysis, design, configuration, testing, and maintenance • Analyze feasibility and develop requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems • Ensure system designs fit user needs • Track and document changes to functional and business specifications • Write procedures for permanent records and training • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology or process changes • Assist with submissions supporting new projects, enhancements, and process changes • Translate technical literature for end-users and non-technical staff • Plan, organize, and conduct business process reengineering/improvement projects and management reviews • Consolidate information into correspondence and written materials for management decision-making • Conduct change impact analysis and document business requirements • Participate in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality • Provide technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching staff • Develop training curriculum and conduct formal training sessions • Conduct studies of new and existing programs and special projects to determine feasibility and resolve organizational, procedural, technical, and fiscal problems • Develop policies, procedures, and information system documentation to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, customer service, and court operations • Prepare reports, written findings, and recommendations; monitor changes • Provide work direction to technical or clerical staff or act as team lead on designated projects • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of business analysis experience • Minimum 10 years of IT industry experience • Experience in at least one of the following industries: Gaming, Supply Chain or Retail • Working knowledge of ITSM/ITIL, including service design and service level management • Ability to plan and lead business analysis work • Ability to manage the requirements lifecycle • Experience eliciting/gathering various types of requirements from business and IT stakeholders • Ability to assess detailed technical information • Ability to analyze complex problems and recommend solutions • Ability to articulate functional and non-functional requirements, including availability, reliability, maintainability, security, and service level requirements • Ability to document requirements in appropriate formats • Ability to communicate requirements to business and IT leaders and subject matter experts • Ability to evaluate business and IT solutions, including solution fit, quality, and solution sustainment impacts
