📋 Description

• Assist with structural calculations, models, drawings, details, reports, and other project documentation • Support the analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, timber, and related structural systems • Participate in project meetings, site visits, field observations, and coordination with design and construction teams • Gain hands-on exposure to structural materials, calculations, modeling tools, construction documents, field conditions, multidisciplinary coordination, and project delivery • Learn how structural engineering principles, load paths, materials, codes, and technical standards are applied to real projects • Learn how calculations, models, drawings, details, and construction-phase documentation are developed and reviewed • Learn how structural engineers coordinate with architects, civil, MEP, geotechnical, contractor, and other project partners

🎯 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field • Completion of relevant coursework in statics, mechanics of materials, structural analysis, or design • Basic understanding of structural systems and engineering calculations • Basic proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or structural analysis tools and Microsoft Office applications • Internship, co-op, research, or project experience related to structural engineering preferred • Familiarity with RISA, RAM, Mathcad, or similar analysis and design software preferred • Involvement in ASCE, SEI, or related engineering organizations preferred
