đź“‹ Description

• Welcome new families and guide them through account setup, platform navigation, and orientation resources • Build supportive relationships with students to increase motivation, connection, and belonging • Monitor student participation and follow up with disengaged or non-participating students • Develop engagement plans and incentive programs to promote attendance and academic involvement • Collaborate with teachers to adapt instructional strategies for struggling students • Communicate with families about attendance expectations, concerns, and improvement plans • Coordinate with counselors, social workers, and administrators to address attendance barriers • Attend attendance conferences and participate in the school academic intervention team • Align remediation activities with curriculum and student learning goals • Use assessment data to design and monitor intervention plans • Document interventions and report student progress to stakeholders • Maintain confidential student information and accurate PowerSchool records • Participate in professional learning and contribute to a positive school culture • Apply school systems, policies, and procedures to resolve requests

🎯 Requirements

• NC Teaching Certification / NC Teaching License required • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree • Must reside in North Carolina • Must have prior school experience • Strong organizational and time management skills • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook • Experience with student information systems or similar databases • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities • Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information • Commitment to equitable outcomes and culturally responsive practices
