📋 Description

• Conduct adaptive physical education evaluations and reevaluations • Review educational records, assessment data, medical information, therapy reports, and other documentation • Prepare evaluation reports and present findings to IEP teams • Provide virtual direct adaptive physical education services per IEP requirements • Develop individualized goals and objectives • Consult with families, teachers, therapists, and service providers • Recommend modifications, accommodations, and adaptive strategies • Participate in eligibility, evaluation, annual review, and reevaluation meetings • Maintain service logs, progress monitoring data, and reports • Monitor and report progress toward IEP goals • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and school regulations • Utilize virtual platforms and technology tools to deliver services • Maintain a professional work environment and dependable schedule

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in the U.S. • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing Adaptive Physical Education services to students with disabilities in educational settings • Experience conducting evaluations, records reviews, and developing individualized recommendations • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and participating in the IEP process • Valid teaching certificate in accordance with state requirements • Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) Adapted Physical Education Endorsement required • Ability to maintain all required credentials and endorsements throughout the duration of the contract • Ability to pass background checks • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and virtual meeting platforms
