📋 Description

• Deliver specific French course content in an online environment • Provide instruction, support, and guidance while managing the learning process • Personalize learning and differentiate instruction based on student mastery • Provide synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences • Monitor student progress through Stride K12’s learning management system • Maintain the grade book and make student placement and promotion decisions • Alert administrators to concerns about student performance and progress • Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests • Establish positive rapport with families and communicate with students and parents/learning coaches • Support parents/learning coaches with curricular, instructional, and basic virtual-classroom troubleshooting issues • Collaborate with teachers to interpret student data and use it to drive instructional decisions • Travel for face-to-face professional development, student testing, and other school requirements

🎯 Requirements

• None specified for certificates and licenses • Ability to clear the required background check • Strong preference for residents of Indiana; residents in the Eastern Time Zone may be considered • Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week • Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-free home office during the workday • Ability to collaborate with other teachers to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic student-data representations • Ability to use student data to drive instructional decisions • Receptive to regular coaching from administrators and teacher trainers • Ability to embrace change and adapt to ensure excellent student outcomes • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint • Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms • Experience with the proposed age group • Experience supporting adults and children using technology • Experience teaching online/virtually and/or in a brick-and-mortar environment • Experience with online learning platforms
