📋 Description

• Deliver specific French course content in an online environment • Provide synchronous and asynchronous instruction, support, and guidance • Manage the learning process and personalize learning for students • Monitor student progress through Stride K12's learning management system • Communicate regularly with students and parents/learning coaches • Differentiate instruction based on student mastery • Augment course content using approved asynchronous and synchronous tools • Maintain the grade book and ensure student academic integrity • Make student placement and promotion decisions • Alert administrators to student performance and progress concerns • Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests • Support parents/learning coaches with curricular, instructional, and basic virtual-classroom troubleshooting • Travel approximately once per month or 20% of the time for professional development, student testing, and other school requirements

🎯 Requirements

• French teaching certification for grades 8-12 • If certification is from another state, obtain Indiana reciprocity within 60 days of employment • Indiana residency required • Bachelor's degree • Active state teaching license • Ability to clear required background check • Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week • Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during the workday • Ability to maintain teacher certification/professional development hours and fluency in K12 systems, programs and curriculum
