📋 Description

• Assist teachers in delivering instruction using differentiated methods aligned with students’ IEP goals • Use assistive technology to teach regular education curriculum when needed • Co-teach and collaborate with special education teachers, general education teachers, and coaches • Coordinate with the Special Education Teacher on requirements, IEP goals, and objectives • Assess students for mastery using state standards and testing requirements • Prepare students for standardized tests and assist with local and state assessments • Communicate with students, parents, teachers, coaches, staff, administrators, and stakeholders about performance and progress • Establish and maintain positive relationships with families • Track student progress and motivate students using goal-based incentives • Enter documentation and maintain records in appropriate systems • Maintain compliance with company and district record-keeping requirements • Provide necessary reports and participate in special education and staff meetings • Participate in professional development, school committee work, events, and Response to Intervention processes as requested • Solve day-to-day problems presented by staff and students • Collaborate on developing an effective Special Education program • Assist with club sponsorship and lunch, before-school, or after-school duties as required • Communicate special education student needs to school leadership • Promote a positive school environment and enforce school and classroom rules and policies

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma AND one (1) year of providing support to students OR equivalent combination of education and experience • Ability to pass a required background search • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.) • Web proficiency • Excellent communication and time management skills • Ability to travel 20% of the time for meetings, professional development, state testing, etc. • Must reside in Colorado • Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during the workday • Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week • No teaching certification required
