📋 Description

• Deliver specific course content in an online environment • Provide instruction, support, and guidance while managing the learning process • Personalize learning and differentiate instruction based on student mastery • Monitor student progress through Stride K12’s learning management system • Work closely with students and parents/learning coaches to advance learning goals • Augment course content using asynchronous and synchronous tools under principal and coach guidance • Maintain the grade book and academic integrity • Make student placement and promotion decisions and alert administrators to performance concerns • Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests • Communicate with students and learning coaches/parents in a timely manner • Support learning coaches/parents with curricular, instructional, and basic virtual-classroom troubleshooting issues • Travel as required for professional development, student testing, and school functions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • 0–1 year of related professional experience • Active state teaching license • Missouri Substitute Teaching Certification • Ability to clear required background check • Missouri residency preferred • Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week • Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-free home office during the workday • Ability to collaborate with teachers using numeric, tabular, and graphic student-data representations • Receptive to regular coaching from administrators and teacher trainers • Ability to embrace change and adapt to support excellent student outcomes • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint • Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms • Experience with the proposed age group preferred • Experience supporting adults and children with technology preferred • Experience teaching online or in a brick-and-mortar environment preferred • Experience with online learning platforms preferred
