📋 Description

• Process requests for new enrollments and withdrawals • Maintain and manage school records, student files, and academic and clerical records • Coordinate with registrars regarding missing documents • Ensure student information and files are complete as required by the state Department of Education • Process records requests from outside school systems and agencies within prescribed timeframes • Assist with regular file reviews and verify required documents • Contact school districts to acquire student-record information for identifying at-risk students • Communicate tactfully and sensitively with parents while maintaining confidentiality • Maintain electronic and paper files for monthly audits of Federal Income Forms and at-risk indicators • Run weekly withdrawal reports and update all systems accurately • Ensure school personnel comply with FERPA • Support school administrators and facilitate communication with stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • One (1) year of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Ability to pass required background check • Strongly prefer residents of Indiana; may consider residents of Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, or Illinois • Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week • Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during the workday • Demonstrated organizational skills and knowledge of systematic filing procedures • Ability to function as part of a team of office professionals • Good verbal and written communication skills • Ability to use web-based database programs to enter and monitor education information • Ability to perform multiple tasks • Some proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
