📋 Description

• Create a fun and exciting experience for students interested in competing in a virtual environment • Instruct and execute day-to-day operations of clubs • Oversee practices to improve students' skills in eGaming and technology-based clubs, including Minecraft, PC gaming platforms, and other virtual clubs • Assist students with PC setups, current gaming strategies, and team-building exercises • Report the day's activities to school administration, including attendance and participation data • Ensure institutional and Esport organizational policies and procedures are followed • Create and distribute communication materials within the school and on social media platforms • Assist with growth and facilitation of career-based clubs alongside content teachers • Oversee appropriate online conversations among students on socialization platforms • Help students align club interests with transition, resume, and college application plans • Represent the school by presenting opportunities to students and increasing socialization and club participation • Potentially facilitate other non-technical competitions

🎯 Requirements

• Three (3) years of successful experience in eGaming platforms OR equivalent combination of education and experience • Shared view of the virtual academy’s mission • Strong content and subject-matter knowledge • Ability to support and guide adults as well as students • Knowledge of databases utilized by K12 • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Organization and time-management skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio • Web proficiency • Ability to travel 25% of the time • Ability to clear the required background check • Must work Eastern Standard Time hours • Residency strongly preferred in Indiana; residents in the Eastern Time Zone may be considered • No certificates or licenses required
