📋 Description

• Provide customers with technical support and services related to digital cinema equipment • Perform preventive maintenance on cinema projection equipment, digital signage, sound systems, servers, and power supplies • Provide demand service for customers and determine and execute support plans • Test electronic assemblies, components, and parts using diagnostic equipment including ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters, color meters, resistance bridges, oscilloscopes, and automated or computerized test equipment • Examine equipment and assemblies for defects and replace defective components • Repair equipment and perform field testing • Resolve firmware and software issues • Direct investigation of customer complaints regarding quality, tolerances, specifications, and delivered condition of products • Record and analyze production quality information and report customer complaint and claim status to appropriate personnel and sales departments • Install electronic or digital equipment and test installations • Record daily activities in Field Point, including work descriptions, expenses, hours, labor, and travel • Take ownership and perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical or equivalent combination of education and experience • Experience with electronics related to the Pro-Av market • Familiarity with computer and networking concepts and architecture • Experience with digital cinema equipment is preferred • Strong attention to detail • Proficient with MS Office • Exceptional customer service skills required • Valid, state issued driver’s license • Ability to stand, sit, squat and bend for a period of time • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Comfortable working in a high-stress, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities • Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills • Self-starter who can find and resolve issues as they are identified • Ability to successfully interface with a wide range of personnel within the organization • Willingness to travel in and out of market up to 70–80% of the time • Ability to work weekends, holidays and on-call
