📋 Description

• Conduct face-to-face Comprehensive Needs Assessments in accordance with DMAS, DBHDS, CARF, and SCCS regulations • Complete intake documentation, including Individual Service Plans, Initial Service Authorizations, Client Orientation Packets, and required legal documents • Perform clinical intakes and initial screenings to determine appropriate levels of care • Formulate diagnostic impressions and develop preliminary treatment plans • Coordinate care with internal treatment teams and external providers as needed • Participate in required clinical trainings • Maintain thorough and compliant documentation following medical record and regulatory standards

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution • Active Virginia licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMHP, or Licensed Psychologist) for licensed candidates • License-eligible candidates must be registered with the appropriate VA licensing board to accrue supervised hours (e.g., Resident in Counseling, Supervisee in Social Work) • 1–2 years of relevant clinical experience, including assessments, intakes, diagnostic formulation, and/or crisis intervention • Strong clinical writing skills and attention to detail • Ability to complete comprehensive assessments in a timely and compliant manner • Understanding of Virginia behavioral health regulations and documentation standards • Ability to perform essential job functions unaided or with reasonable accommodation
