📋 Description

• Demonstrate leadership in the development, training, and evaluation of key driving personnel • Ensure vehicle safety, operating efficiency, and superior customer service • Travel to Sunstate locations to evaluate and provide hands-on training • Recommend enhancements to and support the Driver development program • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing Sunstate standards and best practices • Promote a teamwork-oriented environment and exceptional customer service • Collaborate with local management to assess driving skills, coach Drivers, and set performance goals • Work temporarily at designated branch locations when additional support is needed • Maintain performance assessment records • Assist local management with training, evaluations, mentoring, and follow-up • Evaluate and maintain training manuals and materials • Facilitate and support safety training program rollout and enforcement • Communicate and ensure adherence to Federal DOT and state/local regulations • Develop and empower employees to make sound business decisions • Assist drivers in pursuing different commercial driver license types • Perform other duties assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience as a professional Sunstate Driver • Solid understanding of and adherence to Sunstate’s safety culture • Demonstrated positive safety record • Knowledge and experience with DriveCam and the coaching process • Completion of professional Driving Course • Solid driving history and defensive driving techniques • Fully skilled/knowledgeable in operation of a variety of vehicles preferred • Ground and air travel required to Sunstate locations and/or educational seminars • Superior coaching and interpersonal skills • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills • Knowledgeable and proficient with CDL Driver-related processes and procedures • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to multitask, work with urgency, apply new information, and resolve problems • Ability to monitor and assess Driver/Customer interactions and provide performance feedback • Understanding of traffic laws, safe driving practices, Federal DOT regulations, and state/local regulations • Professional presentation and appearance • Dependable and timely • Valid driver’s license and CDL • Fluency in English required; Spanish preferred • Ability to walk, stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 90 pounds • Required Class A Driver's License
