📋 Description

• Drive progress of the Turso open-source database, particularly its Postgres compatibility layer • Ensure code works reliably and does not break by establishing appropriate systems and guarantees • Maintain Turso Cloud operations, including the Cloud API and data plane operations • Improve scalability of Turso Cloud operations to support 100 times more databases • Collaborate closely with customers and other Supabase teams • Build database technology tools that scale to billions

🎯 Requirements

• Experience writing databases and/or other high-stakes low-level systems such as hypervisors, OS kernels, or storage devices • Experience working with remote teams and open-source communities • Experience with Deterministic Simulation Testing, formal verification methods, fuzz testing, and differential testing • Experience deploying, operating, and debugging large-scale production software systems in cloud environments such as AWS and Kubernetes • Experience improving observability, reliability, and performance of complex cloud systems • Comfortable working in Rust • Comfortable with LLM-assisted development and evals • Comfortable working with embedded databases • Clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and moving quickly
